The quality of the system of corporate governance of companies is a crucial question not only in CEE countries but also in other countries throughout the world which have developed economies. The necessity to have a transparently defined system of mutual relationships among shareholders in companies, their executive top-management, lower management, employees and other stakeholders, based on solid principles, is inevitable in the current financial crisis, in which personal failure and scandals frequently arise.
