Zdeněk Bajar appointed partner with PETERKA & PARTNERS
In May 2012 the PETERKA & PARTNERS’ team was extended by Zdeněk Bajar who returned to the firm after working at the Czech office of the leading American law firm WEIL, GOTSHAL & MANGES for several years.
Zdeněk was appointed partner and he will participate in the management of the PETERKA & PARTNERS’ Russian office. He is charged with developing the activities of the Belarusian office.
In his practice Zdeněk focuses mainly on litigation and representing clients in court proceedings (including international disputes), and advising on telecommunications matters, implementing substantial construction projects (including complex legal consulting services concerning building, environmental and expropriation legislation) and public contracts, acquisitions, and legal relations based on intellectual property rights (mainly copyright). Currently Zdeněk renders complex legal consulting services to clients operating in the Russian market.
Zdeněk graduated from the Law Faculty of the Charles University in Prague and he passed a half-year internship in Jönköping International Business School, Jönköping University, Sweden. He speaks Czech (native), English and Russian.
