Background:
Before joining PETERKA & PARTNERS in 2010 Matúš worked as a trainee for JUDr. Ján Chmela, an attorney-at-law in Piešťany. During his own legal practice he assisted several major international and local clients (both businesses and individuals), among others several air line companies operating in Slovakia. Specialized in commercial dispute resolution and in procedural law, he also defended clients in criminal proceedings

Other information:
He served as a lecturer at the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (focused on the bases of law and medical law) and, in 2006 rendered consulting services to Semmelweis University in Budapest.
