Ondrej Peterka
Mgr. Ondřej Peterka is the founder and Managing Partner of PETERKA & PARTNERS. In his regional practice he focuses mainly on acquisitions, banking and financial law, and disputes with cross-border elements. His significant international clients in the Central and Eastern European region include Veolia Voda, PSA Peugeot Citroën, LVMH, Iveco and Atlas Copco.
In addition to regional services in Central and Eastern Europe Ondřej Peterka manages services rendered to significant Czech companies and international companies in the Czech Republic, such as Delhaize “The Lion” Nederland B.V., Alcatel-Lucent, First Czech-Russian Bank and Česká pojišťovna a.s. Thanks to his seven-year practice in France, experience obtained before French courts and his status as an attorney-at-law registered in France, he also leads a group of lawyers who render legal consulting services connected with the business activities of many Czech and Slovak clients in France, of which the most significant are Skanska, Prefa Žatec s.r.o., Slezan Frýdek Místek a.s., Karsit a.s, Lutos a.s., MSV Metal Studénka and ZTS Elektronika ES, a.s.
In 2005 Mr. Peterka was elected regional vice-chair of the association of independent law firms TerraLex® in charge of Europe. In 2011 he was elected member of the Executive commitee of TerraLex®.
According to international legal market rating publications Mr. Peterka is a leading legal expert in the Czech Republic in corporate law, including mergers and acquisition, disputes and insolvency and restructuring.
Ondrej Peterka is married, he has got 3 children and his wife is a Dane.

Professional background:
Mr. Peterka started legal practice in Paris, where he worked for the American firm Coudert Brothers, and later the French firm Sokolow, Dunaud, Mercadier & Carreras. From 1996 he was a substitute attorney-at-law at the French firm Gide Loyrette Nouel in Prague and from 1998, with his team, practiced as an independent attorney-at-law under the business name of Gide Loyrette Nouel. In 2000 Mr. Peterka established PETERKA & PARTNERS and the following year he was appointed Manager Partner of the firm.
